Summertime Chicago

Inspired by the bustling beaches and enticing breeze of the Third Coast, with notes of freshwater breeze, cotton, and coconut.

With the clear view of the skyline to the west and the lake breeze and horizon to the east, there is nothing quite like the Chicago coast. The beachfront was not always public domain, however. The first public beach opened in 1895 between Fullerton and Diversey. Then, men and women had separate swimming areas and suits needed to reach knees (if only they could see the Playpen). Today, locals and tourists alike can enjoy "Summertime Chi" at 24 distinct public beaches spanning 26 miles of stunning coastline.
