Inspired by the morning mist rolling over the pier, with notes of sea salt, petitgrain, and musk.
When George Streeter, a former river boat captain and traveling circus owner, grounded his steamboat on “the Sands” at the mouth of the Chicago River in 1886, he claimed the whole area as his own. While Streeter’s claim was struck down after a decades long legal battle, the name ‘Streeterville’ stuck. Now home to iconic Chicago landmarks like the John Hancock Center, Navy Pier, and Water Tower Place, Streeterville sits at the intersection of the peaceful Lake Michigan shoreline and bustling city life.
