River North

Inspired by the rich scent of the aged timber lofts of River North, with notes of sandalwood, amber, and musk.

Just north of downtown Chicago, River North has undergone many transformations. Situated on the northern bend of the Chicago River, the area was once known as “Smokey Hollow” as it was densely populated with factories at the turn of the 20th century. It was the heart of industrializing Chicago, the vestiges of which are reflected in the former warehouses that have been converted into chic lofts. The neighborhood today is home to glitzy venues and the highest concentration of restaurants and art galleries in the city.
