Forest Glen
Forest Glen
Inspired by the forest preserves surrounding the Glen, with notes of pine, amber, and chrysanthemum.
Forest Glen, a serene neighborhood on Chicago's northwest side, was named by Potawatomi Chief Sauganash and developed by Captain William Hazelton. The original community featured cherry orchards, a grocery store, and a church. Early residents planted elm and oak seeds to mark the boundaries of the first streets. These interior trees mirror President Roosevelt’s forest preserves, which surround the neighborhood. The Glen's diverse architecture, enduring traditions, and beautiful tree canopy make it a lovely place to call home.
