Evanston
Evanston
Inspired by a picnic by the lake on a fall day in Evanston, with notes of leaves, linen, and blossoms.
Located north of Chicago, Evanston is named for one of the founders of Northwestern University, John Evans. Ten students walked the university's hallowed halls two years before Evanston was officially named in 1857. Northwestern helped Evanston grow into a culturally diverse city, but the city is much more than the university. Beautiful historical architecture, plentiful green space, nine unique business districts, and six public lakefront beaches attract families and filmmakers (over 60 films and counting) to this picturesque city.
