Inspired by the warm sanctuary of St. Stanislaus Kostka, with notes of frankincense, myrrh, and amber.
Bucktown, north of Wicker Park, was settled in the 1830s by Polish immigrants. The area was first established as the town of Holstein but annexed to Chicago in 1863. Both St. Stanislaus Kostka Church (built in 1867) and the neighborhood's name (a buck is a male goat in Polish) are a testament to its Polish heritage. Today, Bucktown is a hub for creative types, featuring trendy boutiques, restaurants, and a lively community atmosphere.
